My Liver chestnut/black 14.2hh 11yrs Mare is for sale through no fault of her own - due to my mum's illness. I can no longer keep her as I have no time. She is broken to ride and has been driven but not by me. Unfortunately, she's been out of work for 3 1/2 months She is Green and forward-going, so is not a Novice ride and will need some schooling to bring her back into work but I don't think it will take too long. She loves attention and is great with other Mares, Geldings, dogs and other animals + kids. She is very sensitive to ride and is the most loving sweet, pretty little cob. She is favourite with all the Grooms at the yard where she lives and is loved by every member of the family. Very sad sale. (She is still being handled daily) I have dropped her price drastically from £1500 to £850 -
(I paid over £2000!) - as I need to find a loving new home urgently. When I used to hack her out alone she was bombproof but am unsure of how she would be now after her break. Full long term loan wanted for a much loved 13h welsh pony.
Ex-county level show pony now requires a quieter life of hacking, the occasional schooling session and lots of local showing.. Always in ribbons never comes home without one. Very likable character loves to be groomed all day and fussed over. Very easy to manage doesn’t need much grass over the summer but must have a stable over the winter. The ideal home that i would be looking for is a family home where he can go out with one or two other ponies and be taken to local shows to do what he enjoys most. Would love to take part in pony club rallies etc. Must stay within 20miles of Reading so I can visit him often. References will be required and homes will be vetted.
